2020 was no ordinary year. In the face of immense challenges, Latinos showed up at the polls and kept our country running during a pandemic. Join us to recognize and thank some of our guiding lights.

One of Washington, DC’s premier Hispanic events, the UnidosUS Capital Awards will recognize leaders like those who inspired and galvanized the Latino community to vote in record numbers and be counted in the 2020 Census—all while protecting ourselves against a pandemic that hit us disproportionately hard.

The UnidosUS Capital Awards honorees will include:

  • The bipartisan leaders who have championed policies and legislation to empower and strengthen the Latino community.

Our Capital Award for Public Service honoree: changemakers outside of politics who courageously and tirelessly advocate on behalf of Latinos.

Due to COVID-19, we transitioned our previous Capital Awards to a virtual experience, and we will continue this tradition in 2021 to make the ceremony safe and accessible for all.

Honorees will be announced soon. In the meantime, we encourage you to get registered and make your plans to attend.
