The UnidosUS Capital Awards gala honors the activists, public figures, and politicians who are champions for the Latino community. It’s a night to acknowledge those who are at the forefront of national issues that affect Hispanics, and those who empower Latinos to define and achieve their own American Dream.

Over a reception, a two-course meal, and desserts, guests can network and connect with peers from the worlds of business, politics, and social service. During the awards ceremony, guests hear from national figures and lawmakers who share our vision of a strong country where each Latino has the chance to succeed socially, economically, and politically.

Past awardees include Republican strategist and pundit Ana Navarro, Representative Nydia Velazquez, Senator Kamala Harris, Senator Ted Kennedy, and Senator John McCain.

Hosted in the National Building Museum’s stunning Great Hall, the UnidosUS Capital Awards is the premier DC event that recognizes Latino excellence and allies to our community.
